Universal import
Digitisation projects often involve the post-processing of existing data. This applies in particular to organisations that undertook digitisation projects in the past using their own software tools. In most cases, their data was generated in other formats that need to be converted into a standardised format so that the data can be used for other purposes. It is very common to find formats from standard software such as Microsoft Word or Microsoft Excel and from the organisation’s own XML structures. In general, however, the target format is mostly METS / MODS. You can rely on our tremendous experience in this field.
Interface for Z39.50 and SRU
Do you need to conduct automated library catalogue searches or import available bibliographic data in as complete a form as possible? Our Z39.50 interface and our SRU interface allow you to make additional use of your existing data and import it into applications such as Goobi.
OAI-PMH Harvester
Do you need to make further use of existing digital objects that are available via standardised interfaces? Our OAI-PHM Harvester automatically searches available interfaces at regular intervals and allows you to import all the stored objects offered in their entirety as well as the associated data. You can import the data automatically into your own Goobi or directly into your online presentation.
Individual import
Do you need to convert data from a proprietary format? If so, just send us a sample. Conversion is generally straightforward and above all can be performed at very short notice. Individual importing provides you with all the important data you really need. You can use it for thousands of data sets without the need for manual work and thus avoiding the probability of error.
